Poco is expected to launch a new F-series smartphone in India next month, which could be the Poco F5 5G. The report suggests that the launch will take place on April 6, 2023. Poco F5 5G’s India variant is expected to bear the 23013PC75I model number and is rumoured to be equipped with a new Snapdragon 7XX series processor. Leaks regarding the F5 5G date back to October of last year.
Back in October, we heard that the Poco F5 5G could be a rebranded Redmi K60 5G. However, now, the device seems to be borrowing specifications from the Redmi Note 12 Turbo which is also an upcoming device. The report from 91Mobiles further says that the Poco F5 5G is coming to India on April 26 with a price tag similar to its predecessor, that launched at Rs 27,999.

Per leak, the Poco F5 5G is expected to sport a 6.67-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,400 nits brightness, HDR10+ support, and 1,920Hz PWM dimming.
As the Redmi Note 12 Turbo has been confirmed to be powered by the brand-new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, the POCO F5 could also employ the same chipset. It should be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device can be expected to run on the latest Android 13 OS with MIUI 14 on top.
It could have a triple camera system which should be headlined by a 50MP primary shooter, accompanied by 8MP and a 2MP additional shooters. At the front, the F5 5G is expected to get a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The F5 5G could be backed with a 5,500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging and 30W wireless fast charging.
