Motorola India has confirmed the launch of Edge 50 Neo 5G in India. The device is confirmed to be arriving in four different shades in India. The Edge 50 Neo 5G has already debuted in global markets with features like a MediaTek Dimensity chip under the hood.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo 5G India launch is set to take place soon, according to a teaser shared by Motorola India via its X account. The teaser lists out the Pantone colours of Motorola’s upcoming handset, including Nautical Blue, Latte, Grisaille, and Poinciana, which are the same hues Edge 50 Neo 5G debuted in. The teaser also confirms that the device will be available in the region via Flipkart.
Motorola Edge 50 Neo 5G: Specs
The Edge 50 Neo 5G sports a 6.4-inch 120Hz pOLED display, 1.5K resolution, 3000 nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, 360Hz touch sampling rate, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The Edge 50 Neo 5G gets a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC paired with 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device has 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM.
The Edge 50 Neo 5G packs a 4310mAh battery with 68W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging. There is a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP f/1.8 primary sensor with OIS, a 13MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle sensor with PDAF, and a 10MP f/2.0 telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom.
It runs on Android 14 out of the box and will get five Android OS upgrades according to Motorola global, which is a first for any Motorola handset. The device also gets moto AI features. For connectivity, it features Bluetooth v5.3, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, GPS, and a USB-C port for charging. It is also IP68 rated. In addition, it packs stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Motorola Edge 50 Neo 5G: India Price (Expected)
The Edge 50 Neo 5G starts at €499 (approx Rs 46,500) in Europe which is quite steep if converted to INR based on the specs on offer. The device should ideally cost below Rs 30,000 in India where it would be facing the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, iQOO Z9s Pro, and more devices.
