Redmi 7A spotted on TENAA with full specifications

Redmi 7A will feature a 5.45-inch (1440 x 720 pixels) 18:9 2.5D curved glass display.

Yesterday we spotted the upcoming Redmi 7A on the TENAA Chinese certification website with images but no specs. Now the same has been updated with complete specs.

As per the updated TENAA listing, the Redmi 7A will feature a 5.45-inch (1440 x 720 pixels) 18:9 2.5D curved glass display. The phone will be powered by 1.4GHz octa-core processor. The phone comes in three variants – 2GB with 16GB storage, 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. All the variants are expandable with memory up to 256GB with microSD.

The Redmi 7A wll be equipped with a single 13-megapixel rear camera with flash, PDAF and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone will be running on 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10 and will be backed up by 4000mAh battery.

The listing further reveals that the phone will have connectivity features like Dual VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm and FM Radio. The phone will reportedly measure 146.30×70.41×9.55 mm and it will weigh 150 grams.

As per yesterday’s listing, Redmi 7A might feature a polycarbonate design. The phone does not feature any waterdrop on top, instead, it has significant bezels on all sides with a company branding at the chin. The front camera, earpiece, and other are placed on the top bezel.

The right side of the Redmi 7A has the volume rocker and the power button while the left side of the smartphone feature slot. The rear of the phone shows that the device will have a single rear camera with LED flash at the top right corner. The ‘AI Camera’ text is written just below the camera. The images do not show any fingerprint sensor on the back which suggests that it will be an entry-level smartphone.
