Xiaomi recently launched Redmi 7and Redmi Y3 smartphones in India. Now as per fresh leaks, the company is working on another budget smartphone. The smartphone, alleged to be the Redmi 7A has been spotted on TENAA Chinese certification. The listing comes sans the specifications but the images reveal the design of the upcoming device.
The Xiaomi smartphone with model numbers M1903C3EE / M1903C3EC has surfaced on TENAA. The Redmi 7A will be a successor of last year’s Redmi 6A smartphone.
As per the images on TENAA, the Redmi 7A might feature a polycarbonate design. The phone does not feature any waterdrop on top, instead, it has significant bezels on all sides with a company branding at the chin. The front camera, earpiece, and other Sensors are placed on the top bezel.
The right side of the Redmi 7A has the volume rocker and the power button while the left side of the smartphone feature SIM slot. The rear of the phone shows that the device will have a single rear camera with LED flash at the top right corner. The ‘AI Camera’ text is written just below the camera. The images do not show any fingerprint sensor on the back which suggests that it will be an entry-level smartphone.
To recall, the Xiaomi Redmi 6A features a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS display with 720 x 1440 pixel resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It has a single 13MP rear camera with LED flash, HDR and panorama, phase-detection autofocus and a 5MP front camera. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is backed by a 3000mAh battery. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 quad-core Processor along with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage.
