Xiaomi is all set to launch its next-generation of the flagship device, the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro, in China on May 28. Now, just ahead of the official launch, the company has confirmed the battery capacity of the Redmi K20.
Xiaomi confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery. The brand revealed this information on its official Weibo account. However, the company has not confirmed that the battery capacity is meant for the standard Redmi K20 or the Redmi K20 Pro. Furthermore, there is no mention of the Fast charging capabilities of the upcoming smartphone. However, multiple reports suggest that it might feature a 27W fast charging solution, which it introduced with Xiaomi Mi 9.
Recollecting some rumoured specifications, the phone is reported to be backed by a triple-camera setup, which comes with a combination of 48-megapixel primary lens, a 13-megapixel secondary shooter and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. For the front, Xiaomi is reported to include a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.
The smartphone is reported to be backed by a 6.15-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. Interestingly, Manu Jain recently hinted that the Redmi K20 with the flagship processor will be launched in India pretty soon.
Xiaomi has already hinted that the upcoming smartphone will run on Android 9.0 Pie and it will get Android Q beta version as well. Other connectivity options include VoLTE, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth, and Dual nano SIM with dual standby.
