Yamaha R15 V3.0 (version 3) is among the most awaited sports bike in India, but now the wait is over as the Yamaha dealers in Bangalore has started taking bookings for the motorcycle. The V3.0 will be launched at the Auto Expo 2018 and will start selling for the price tag of Rs 1.30 to 1.35 lakh.
It is worth mentioning that Yamaha has not yet disclosed the availability of the Bike. According to a report by Rushlane, the dealers havestarted taking booking for the new R15 at a nominal price of Rs 5,000 at selected outlets and it will start delivering machines soon after the Auto Expo in February.
Comparing to the last year V2.0 (version 2), Yamaha will come with an all-new bulky design and with some added extra weight for stability. It will feature a 155.1 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with the power of 19.04 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm torque at 8,500 rpm with a 6-speed gearbox.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Version 3.0 will come with an 11-litrefuel tank, all-digital console, dual-LED headlight, and disk brakes at front and rear. The machine is expected to offer the mileage of 32 km per litre.
Further, this year also the company is again expected to miss out the ABS system from its R15 series and will stick to the regular Hydraulic disk brakes. And to keep its price cheaper, Yamaha could definitely ditch out the slipper clutch as well.
