Bajaj Auto is expected to bring in the all-new Bajaj Platina 125 Comfertec during the festive season. Recently, the commuter is spotted in testing conditions on the roads of Pune with a 125 badging and a front disc brake.
Though the pictureis a little blurred out, it seems to feature the same design and body language as the as the standard Platina. The new 125 engine and front disc brake are expected to increase the bike’s price by Rs 7,000 to Rs 8,000, which is expected to price around Rs 55,000 (ex-showroom).

According to a report by Shifting-gear, the bike will share its engine with the Discover 125, will be powered by a 124.5cc engine which will produce the power of 11 PS with the 11 Nm of peak torque. Further, the bike will be mated to a 5-speed transmission, with the mileage of 82 kmpl.
Currently, the bike is powered by a 102cc displacement motor and generates 8.1 PS of power with 8.6 Nm of torque. Mated to a 4-speed transmission, standard Platina is claimed to deliver the mileage of 90 kmpl.
