Austria-based sports bike manufacturer, KTM has announced the launch its RC 390 R Limited Edition. A machine specially designed and dedicated to the hardcore racing bikes for the track. The motorcycle will be priced at 8,500 euros (approximately Rs 6.71 lakh), but its availability details have still not been disclosed yet.
It is worth noting that the company will be manufacturing only 500 units all over the world. Comparing to the standard KTM RC 390, the R edition will come with fully adjustable WP suspensions, a new top yoke and handlebar for a comfortable racing position.
Further, the bike will have the foldable clutch and breaks on the handlebar to avoid breaking in case of a fall. Other than this for an extreme racing freaks, KTM will be introducing 50 units of SSP300 performance kit, with 230 individual parts.
The list includes an Akrapovic exhaust system, STM slipper clutch for faster gear transition, race ECU display, an array of gear ratio option, an extra pair of wheels, quick shifter, and other lightweight components. The SSP300 racing kit will sell for 11,500 euros (approximately Rs 9.98 lakh), which makes the Limited Edition R machine and Kit for Rs Rs 17 lakhs (ex-showroom price).
