Top 5 cheapest prepaid plans of BSNL

After Reliance Jio's dirt cheap plans, the prepaid plans have no doubt become very cheap for customers in India. Here we have chosen the prepaid plans ranging from latest to cheapest by state-owned operator - Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).

Tariff war among the telecom companies does not seem to stop anywhere these days. After Reliance Jio’s dirt cheap plans, the prepaid plans have no doubt become very reasonable for customers in India. Here we have chosen the cheapest prepaid plans by state-owned operator – Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).

BSNL Rs 9 and Rs 29 prepaid plans

BSNL has recently announced two Chota pack plans of Rs 9 and Rs 29. Both the plans come under Freedom Offer and are available from August 10 to August 25 only.

The Rs 29 plan comes with a week validity of 7 days while the Rs 9 plan has just one-day validity. Both the plans offer unlimited voice calls (local/STD) to any network, unlimited data with speed reduced to 80Kbps after 2GB/day and 100 per day. Apart from all these benefits, the plans also have the free PRBT (Personalised Ringback Tone). However, the calling benefits are not applicable to mobile numbers located in Mumbai and Delhi circles.

BSNL Rs 27 plan

The BSNL Rs 27 plan offers its prepaid customers unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit, 300 SMS messages and 1GB 2G/3G data. It has a validity of 7 days. In this plan also, customers do not have any facility of voice calling in Delhi and Mumbai circles.

BSNL Rs 19 plan

The BSNL Rs 19 plan is only in available in Tamil Nadu and Chennai regions and not on the pan-India. It comes with a validity of 54 days from the date of recharge.

Under this prepaid plan, BSNL allows its users to make voice calls at 15 paise per minute in the same network and35 paise per minute on other networks for 54 days since the activation of the plan. After 54 days, the users will be charged as per standard rates. This STV 19 plan was launched on a promotional basis and will expire on October 11.

BSNL Rs 171 plan

The BSNL Rs 171 plan comes with a validity of 30 days and was introduced in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circles.

This plan offers 60GB data with a limit of 2GB of 2G/ data per day. It has a per GB cost of about Rs. 2.85 post the consumption of allocated data. Notably, BSNL doesn’t provide data. Apart from the data benefit, it offers unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day for the entire validity period.

BSNL Rs 444 plan

BSNL recently revised its Rs 444 prepaid plan with extra data benefits The plan comes with a validity of 60 days.

After revising, BSNL Rs 444 plan now offers its customers a 6GB data per day. The plan provides 6GB ( earlier it was 4GB) of daily 3G data and unlimited voice calling facilities to the same network for 60 days. Previously, BSNL offered 4GB of 3G data per day for 60 days. The Rs 444 STV does not come with unlimited voice calling to other networks and SMS benefits.
