State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has today announced the launch of Rs 171 Prepaid plan for its customers. The plan is however not valid on the pan-India basis but has been introduced inAndhra Pradesh and Telangana circles.
The prepaid plan comes with a validity of 30 days and it offers 2GB data per day. So in total, you are getting 60GB data for the whole validity period.
According to a report by TelecomTalk, the telco is also offering unlimited voice calling and SMS benefits. Further, unlike other plans, users can make voice calls to Delhi and Mumbai circles as well without any FUP limit. Apart from this, users get 100 SMS per day, which translate to 3000 SMS for the validity period.
The plan is in direct competition with Reliance Jio’s Rs 198 plan. Under this offer, Jio users get unlimited voice calls on local, STD and national Roaming along with 2GB of data with a validity of 28 days. Apart from this, users also get 100 SMS per day as well.
This is not it. Airtel also has a similar plan of Rs 199 that offers 1.4GB of data per day along with unlimited voice calls for 28 days and 100 SMS per day.
