The 2GB variant of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, which was announced in India a few days back at Rs 9,999, will go on sale for the first time today on mi.com at 12 Noon.
The 3GB and 4GB variants of the smartphone will also be up for grab in today’s sale. The 3GB RAM with 32 GB ROM model is priced at Rs 10,999, whereas the 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM one has to pay Rs 12,999.
In an earlier flash sale of 3GB and 4GB variant of Redmi Note 4 which was held on January 23, company claimed to have sold 2,50,000 units of smartphones on Flipkart and Mi.com in just 10 minutes. Moreover, the company also said to have crossed over one million ‘Notify Me’ requests on Flipkart.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes with a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved glass display and a 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The hybrid dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating and has a 4100 mAh battery. In terms of design, the smartphone is near identical to the Redmi Note 3 with a fingerprint scanner at the back.
Further, the smartphone offers a 13-megapixel Autofocus rear camera with dual tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 Aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS with AGS/GLONASS and USB Type C. The handset measures 151 x 76 x 8.35mm and weighs 175 grams.
