Xiaomi might have played a gamble by going with a Snapdragon 625 instead of Snapdragon 653 on the Redmi Note 4. However, it will be interesting to test the new Redmi Note 4 against its predecessor which comes with a Snapdragon 650 chipset. On the other hand, battery life is expected to be better on the Note 4 as Snapdragon 625 is much more battery efficient than Snapdragon 650 or even Snapdragon 653 because it is built on 14nm FinFET architecture.
