Xiaomi Mi 7 has been into rumors for a long time now and a recent report suggests that the Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship Mi 7 smartphone may finally be announced on May 23 in China. Now a couple of display panel images for the upcoming Xiaomi flagship have leaked online.
The leaked screen panel comes with a notch design which confirms the earlier speculations of the smartphone featuring the famous iPhone X notch design. Since many last leaks have already claimed that Xiaomi will introduce the notch in Mi 7, the latest one just reaffirms the notch presence on the smartphone. The images show two display panels which are suspected to be of Xiaomi Mi 7 and the Mi 7 Plus.
Recently, Xiaomi Mi 7 was reported to become the 1st Android phone to have 3D sensing technology. Earlier, Lei Jun, Xiaomi Founder confirmed that Mi 7 smartphone will come with an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The Mi 7 will be sporting Qi wireless charging. Itwill arrive with the fast wireless charging of 7.5W level. Currently, this 7.5W wireless charging is the same as used in iPhone X, 8 and 8 Plus flagship smartphones. The 7.5W wireless charging speed is half the speed of the latest Qi 1.2 standards.
As per earlier reports, the specifications of Mi 7 include a 5.6-inch display with 1440 x 2880 Pixel resolution, Snapdragon 845 SoC with Adreno 630 GPU, Android 8.0 Oreo running MIUI 9, 64GB/128GB of internal capacity, 6GB/8GB RAM, non-removable 4480mAh battery with quick charge, 16-megapixel dual rear camera with dual tone LED flash and 13-megapixel front camera.
