Seems Samsung is prepping for the launch of its next flagship smartphone – Galaxy Note 9. The smartphone is reportedly launching in early August either August 2 or August 9 at an event in NewYork.
Popular leakster, Ice Universe, who has a reasonable track record on his official Twitter handle hs revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be released in New York on August 2 or 9. It is to be noted that the August 9 date has already been reported recently by Bloomberg. The report further highlighted that the camera will the be the major highlight of the upcoming device.

In a separate latest twitter post, the same leakster has also confirmed that the Galaxy Note 9 will have a 4000mAh battery. The battery is said to support wireless Fast charging technology. Earlier reports say that Galaxy Note 9 will have either a 3,850 or 4,000mAh battery. In either case, it will be a larger battery than the Galaxy Note 8 with a 3,300mAh battery.

Recently, a couple of images of the smartphone’s case surfaced online which revealed that the upcoming flagship smartphone will feature five physical buttons on its sides – the four buttons on the side are said to be for the volume keys, standby button and Bixby, while the fifth is expected to be for a camera shutter key. As per the leaked case, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will have a horizontal alignment of rear-dual cameras and a new position for the fingerprint scanner.
As per earlier reports, the Galaxy Note 9 will sport a large 6.4-inch display with Samsung’s popular infinity display and a screen Resolution of 412×846 pixels. It is also rumoured to support Bixby 2.0. Recently it was reported that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 one variant will come with 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. However, earlier rumours have revealed that the Note 9 will come with 6GB RAM and 64/128/256GB internal storage options.
