Samsung is all set to launch its latest flagship device, the Galaxy Note 9 at an event, which is scheduled to take place on August 9. Now a couple of images of the smartphone’s case have surfaced online which reveals that the upcoming flagship smartphone will feature five physical buttons on its sides.
The leak courtesy, Ice Universe, has published two images on his Twitter handle of TPU transparent case of the Note 9. As per the design of the protective case, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will have a horizontal alignment of rear-dual cameras and a new position for the fingerprint scanner. Unlike its predecessor, the fingerprint scanner is now placed under the dual-rear camera setup. With this, all rumours about the Galaxy Note 9 featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor have also been laid to rest.

The TPU case also reveals the position of the Bixby button, which is placed on the right side of the smartphone. The volume rocker and power buttons are placed on the left side with the power button placed just below the volume rockers. The leaked case shows five physical buttons – the four buttons on the side are said to be for the volume keys, standby button and Bixby, while the fifth is expected to be for a camera shutter key.
Recent rumours have hinted that the Galaxy Note 9 will feature a significantly improved camera compared to the Galaxy S9 series. The smartphone will feature a similar design language, which we have seen in the Galaxy Note 8. Users will get updated Qualcomm processor, though it is meant for certain markets only, while the rest of them will get Exynos variant.
Recently it was reported that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 one variant will come with 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. However, earlier rumours have revealed that the Note 9 will come with 6GB RAM and 64/128/256GB internal storage options.
As per earlier reports, the Galaxy Note 9 will sport a large 6.4-inch display with Samsung’s popular infinity display and a screen Resolution of 412×846 pixels. It is also rumoured to feature a larger battery and support Bixby 2.0. Reports say that Galaxy Note 9 will have either a 3,850 or 4,000mAh battery. In either case, it will be a larger battery than the Galaxy Note 8 with a 3,300mAh battery.
