Samsung has just launched the Galaxy S8 and S8+ in India and when its availability commences from May 5, Reliance Jio will offer free data to the owners of thedevice.
Called the Double Data Offer, all the customers who buy Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ will get 448 GB of 4G mobile data on their Reliance Jio network over a period of 8 months for just Rs 309. This translates to 2GB of 4G internet per day. Interestingly, the Jio Double Data offer on the Galaxy S8 and S8+ doubles the benefits under Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer.
If you are not aware, Reliance Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer gives 1GB 4G data per day for 84 days (28 days x 3) by just paying Rs 309. Further, one can pay Rs 509 and get 2GB 4G data per day with a validity of 84 days. Apart from this, you still get unlimited free voice calls and SMS and free access to Jio Apps. However, post the 84 days period, the validity of both the above-mentioned offer will be downgraded to 28 days.
Now if you already have Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer activated on your Jio SIM, you will have to pay additional Rs 309 each month to get 2GB mobile data benefit per day under the Double Data offer. The validity of this offer starts from May 5th and will last for 8 months i.e. January 2018.
