Reliance Jio has finally put an end to its free services. Much to the relief of its competition, and apparently, the sector regulator too. The last date to subscribe for Jio Prime membership was 15th April after which users who haven’t subscribed are now getting a notification of discontinuation, as per some reports. The discontinuation has been run down in phases and if not today, your non-prime Reliance Jio number will soon bid adieu to free services which the telecom operator has been granting since September 2016. But, what if you subscribed to Jio Prime membership by paying Rs 99 fee and didn’t opt for Summer Surprise or Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer? For you, Reliance Jio is now paid and we have listed down on the tariffs, as stated on the company’s website, down below. Do not that unlike the other operators in the market, in Jio’s case , what you see is indeed what you get, and calling up to get a better plan will not work, at least right now.
Reliance Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer is still valid for Jio Prime members
Yes, if you have subscribed for Jio Prime membership before 15th April, you can still opt for Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer by paying for any one of the two plans available on both the company website and MyJio app. Under the new offer, Jio users who have already subscribed to Jio Prime membership can now get 1GB 4G data per day for 84 days (28 days x 3) by just paying Rs 309. Further, one can pay Rs 509 and get 2GB 4G data per day with a validity of 84 days. Apart from this, you still get unlimited free voice calls and SMS and free access to Jio Apps. However, post the 84 days period, the validity of both the above-mentioned offer will be downgraded to 28 days.
