After slashing price of Nokia 7.1 and Nokia 6.1 Plus in India recently, HMD Global has slashed the price of Nokia 8.1 in India. The Nokia 8.1 is now available for a starting price of Rs 15,999. Nokia 8110 4G has also received a price cut and it is now priced at Rs 2,999. The revised pricing is now reflected at the official Nokia shop.
Nokia 8.1 was launched last year at Rs 26,999 and in June this year, the smartphone price was slashed after which the phone’s price was dropped to Rs 19,999. It has now received a price cut of Rs 4,000 after which the Nokia 8.1 4GB is available for a price of Rs 15,999. There is another 6GB variant of Nokia 8.1 which can be purchased for Rs 22,999. Both variants of Nokia 8.1 are available in Blue and Iron colour.
The Nokia 8.1 features a 6.18-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels, 18.7:9 aspect ratio and 500 nits brightness. It has a 12-megapixel primary lens with dual-tone LED flash, 1/2.55″ Sony IMX363 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, 1.4μm pixels, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and 13-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, ZEISS optics. For the front, it has a 20-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The Nokia 8.1 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 2.2GHz octa-core Processor with Adreno 616 GPU. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie operating system and is backed up by a 3500mAh battery with fast charging support. The dimensions are 154.8 x 75.76 x 7.97 mm and weight is 180 grams. Connectivity features are dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm Headphone jack.
