HMD Global has today announced the launch of its latest budget-centric smartphone, the Nokia 3.1 Plus. The smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 11,499 and it will be available for purchase from Nokia Mobile Shop starting from October 19. The company has also announced the new Nokia 8110 feature phone in the country as well. The device comes with a price tag of Rs 5,999 and it will be available from October 24.
Nokia 3.1 Plus comes with a metallic body and it comes under Android One branding. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.0-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor and it will be available in 2GB RAM + 16GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage options. The memory can be further expanded up to 400 GB via micro SD card slot.
For optics, the Nokia 3.1 Plus features a dual-camera setup with a combination of 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0 Aperture and 1.12-micron pixel size, while the secondary sensor comes with a Monochrome 5-megapixel lens with f.24 aperture and 1.12-micron pixel size. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter with f/2.2 aperture and 1.12-micron pixel size.
The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and it is backed by a 3500mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the device supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, GPS, GLONASS, micro USB, Dual-SIM and 3.5mm audio jack. The phone measures 156.68 x 76.44 x 8.19mm and 180 grams.
Coming to Nokia 8110 feature phone, the 4G feature phone comes equipped with Google Assistant. It is also loaded with apps like Facebook, Twitter and more. One can also share the 4G data connection with hotspot. The phone will be available in Banana Yellow colour option.
The phone features a 2.4-inch QVGA curved display. It is powered by Qualcomm 205 mobile platform along with 512MB of LPDDR3 RAM and 4GB of storage. The Nokia 8110 feature phone comes loaded with a 2-megapixel rear camera and it features 1500mAh battery. Apart from this, it features WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, micro USB, 3.5mm Audio Jack and micro SIM slot. And yes, it comes with a revamped version of Snake.
