HMD Global has today announced the launch of its latest mid-raneg smartphone in India. Dubbed as Nokia 8.1, the smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 26999 and it will be exclusively available at Nokia Mobile Shop and Flipkart starting from 25 December.
The major highlight of the smartphone is the glass back and aluminum unibody. The smartphone featuresa 6.18-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels, 18.7:9 aspect ratio and 500 nits brightness. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 2.2GHz octa-core Processor with Adreno 616 GPU.
For software, the phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie operating system and is backed up by a 3500mAh battery with Fast charging suppot.
It is loaded with a fingerprint sensor at the back. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with expandable memory up to 400GB via micro SD card slot.
For the imagining department, the phone is has a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 12-megapixel primary lens with dual-tone LED flash, 1/2.55″ Sony IMX363 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, 1.4μm pixels, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and 13-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, ZEISS optics. For the front, it has a 20-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
On the connectivity front, the phone has dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm Headphone jack. It has dimensions 154.8 x 75.76 x 7.97 mm and weight 180grams.
