Nokia 7.1 with Snapdragon 636 launched in India, priced at Rs 19,999

The Nokia 7.1 features a 5.84-inch Full HD+ (1080x2280 pixels) display with 19:9 aspect ratio, HDR10 support, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It’s the first smartphone to come with PureDisplay screen technology which will provide HDR10 quality entertainment on YouTube, Netflix and Amazon Prime.

HMD Global has today announced the latest Nokia 7.1 smartphone in India as the latest entrant to its mid-range line-up. The device will go on sale starting December 7 and will be available for an asking price of Rs 19,999.The Nokia 7.1 will be available in Gloss Midnight Blue and Gloss Steel colours

As part of the launch, Airtel is providing 1TB of data on eligible plans starting Rs 199. Airtel postpaid customers can enjoy additional data of 120GB along with three months of Netflix subscription and one year of Amazon Prime subscription on plans starting Rs 499.

Additionally, users purchasing Nokia 7.1 using HDFC Bank Credit/Debit cards and EMIs will get a 10 percent instant cashback.

The Nokia 7.1 features a 5.84-inch Full HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) display with 19:9 aspect ratio, HDR10 support, and 3 protection. It’s the first smartphone to come with PureDisplay screen technology which will provide HDR10 cinematic quality entertainment on platforms like YouTube, Netflix and Amazon Prime.

The device is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 with Adreno 509 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and is expandable memory up to 400GB with microSD. The device comes with a 3,060mAh battery andsupport USB type-C which delivers up to 50 percent of charge in 30 minutes.

The smartphone has a dual rear camera setup of 12-megapixel (RGB) primary camera with dual flash, f/1.8 aperture,1.28 um pixel size, ZEISS optics and a 5-megapixel (Monochrome) secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture, 1.12um pixel size. For the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 and 84-degree field-of-view.The new camera gives you ultimate control of white balance, ISO, focus and shutter speed using the Pro Camera Mode,Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) technology and360° Nokia spatial audio.

The Nokia 7.1 joins the comprehensive line-up of Nokia smartphones in the One family and thus runs on the latest Android 9 Pie after an update available out of the box. The smartphone has various connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm jack. onboard the smartphone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device measures 149.7 x 71.19 x 7.99 mm and it weighs 159 grams.
