HMD Global has launched its latest Nokia 7.1 smartphone at an event in London on Thursday. The Nokia 7.1 price ranges from EUR 299 which is approx. Rs 24,400 to EUR 349 approx Rs 29,500 depending on the region. It will be available in Gloss Midnight Blue and Gloss Steel colours starting October this year.
The Nokia 7.1 features a 5.84-inch Full HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) display with 19:9 aspect ratio, HDR10 support, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 processor with Adreno 509 GPU. It comes in two variants – 3GB RAM with 32 GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage which are both expandable memory up to 400GB with microSD.
The smartphone has a dual rear camera setup of 12-megapixel (RGB) primary camera with dual LED flash, f/1.8 aperture,1.28 um pixel size, ZEISS optics and a 5-megapixel (Monochrome) secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture, 1.12um pixel size. For the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 Aperture and 84-degree field-of-view.

The Nokia 7.1 has a 3,060mAh non-removable battery with 18W Fast charging which claims to offer a 50 percent charge in 30 minutes. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) which is said to be upgradable to Android 9.0 (Pie).
The smartphone has various connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm Headphone jack. Sensors onboard the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device measures 149.7 x 71.19 x 7.99 mm and it weighs 159 grams.
