The latest update brings a host of interesting features. In order to check for the latest update, the user needs to go Settings > System > About Phone > System Update.
The Oreo update will bring the picture-in-picture mode that lets users to two tasks simultaneously. So, for example, one can minimise a YouTube video while sending a text message or writing an email. Android Oreo has other features like including Background limits, installation of apps via APK, over 60 new emojis, notification dots, Wide-gamut colour for apps, Snoozing individual notification, Adaptive icons, Keyboard navigation, WebView enhancements and much more.
After these two, a stable Oreo update is also expected for Nokia 3 and Nokia 2 phones now. In fact, Nokia 3 Android Oreo Beta update is just around the corner which was recently confirmed by HMD Global. It was also reported earlier that brand is planning to update the budget-centric Nokia 2 to Android 8.1 Oreo.
