Motorola is reportedly working on the next-generation of Moto G6, Moto Z and Moto E series. Now, the Moto G6 and Moto E5 series could be unveiled soon in Asia as the smartphones has been certified in Thailand and Indonesia.
According to a report by Nashville Chatter, the Moto G6 (XT1925-7), Moto G6 Plus (XT1926-5), and Moto G6 Play (XT1922-1) have been certified by TKDN in Indonesia and NBTC in Thailand. Further, Moto E5(XT1924-3) and E5 Play (XT1944-6)was spotted on Indonesia. The listing reveals that the smartphones could be launched for the Asian market before being rolled out in the European and American markets.
Talking about key specifications, the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus will sport a 5.7-inch Full HD+ and 5.93-inch Full HD+ displays with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The Moto G6 Play will come loaded with a 5.7-inch HD display, which could sport a normal 16:9 aspect ratio.
On the hardware front, the Moto G6 Plus will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, while the Moto G6 will feature a Snapdragon 450 chipset. However, there is no information about the Processor used in Moto G6 Play.
The Moto G6 will be backed by a 3GB /4GB of RAM and 32GB/6GB of internal storage, while the Moto G6 Plus will feature 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. The memory can be further expandable in nature. On the camera front, both the smartphones will bear a dual-camera setup at the back with a combination of 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors, while for the front, there will be a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. The Moto G6 Plus will feature a 3200mAh battery, while the Moto G6 will come loaded with a 3000mAh battery. Interestingly, the Moto G6 Play will feature an impressive 4000mAh battery.
