It seems that Motorola is working on the next-generation of smartphones, which might get showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. Now, new leaks have emerged online that reveals some key details about upcoming Moto X5, Moto Z3, Moto Z3 Play, Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play.
Moto X5
To start with Moto X5, the leaked press render reveals that it will sport a bezel-less design, which is in line with this year’s smartphones. The device will retain the glass back, which is present in the Moto X4 and it seems to sport an iPhone X-like top notch. The smartphone will come loaded with dual front and rear cameras as well.
According to the leak, the smartphone will come loaded with a 5/9-inch Full HD+ display with a screen Resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. There is no fingerprint sensor on the smartphone, but one can see a white software button at the bottom, which could be used for navigation. It might support swipe gestures, which are present in current Moto smartphones. The image also reveals that the smartphone will come Moto XP’s, which could company’s new virtual assistant.
Moto Z3 and Moto Z3 Play
Motorola Moto Z-series has been always popular due to the whole modular concept and it seems that the upcoming Moto Z3 and Moto Z3 Play will take this legacy forward. Both the smartphone sports a pretty sleek design. Interestingly, this year’s Moto Z-series will come loaded with the latest display of 18:9. The Moto Z3 Play features an almost bezel-less display, while the Moto Z3 seems to come with a curved screen, which is pretty interesting as it could be the first device from Motorola to come with such kind of display.
Moving on, both the smartphone will come with dual rear cameras and both of them will feature 6.0-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. Once again, there is a white software button at the base, which could be for navigation. Further, the Moto Z3 image also reveals a Motorola Moto 5G Mod that might add the 5G capabilities to the phone. This would be interesting to see whether it will be a reality or not.
Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play
Lastly, coming to the famous Moto G-series, the company will bring the Play variant with Moto G6 Play. The company will also introduce Moto G6 Plus and standard Moto G6. The leak reveals that the smartphones will take some clue from Moto X4 in terms of design, meaning that you will see a glass-like finish along with that camera hump in the upcoming G-series.
Coming to the key specifications, the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus will sport a 5.7-inch Full HD+ and 5.93-inch Full HD+ displays with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The Moto G6 Play will come loaded with a 5.7-inch HD display, which could sport a normal 16:9 aspect ratio.
On the hardware front, the Moto G6 Plus will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, while the Moto G6 will feature a Snapdragon 450 chipset. However, there is no information about the Processor used in Moto G6 Play.
The Moto G6 will be backed by a 3GB /4GB of RAM and 32GB/6GB of internal storage, while the Moto G6 Plus will feature 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. The memory can be further expandable in nature. On the camera front, both the smartphones will bear a dual-camera setup at the back with a combination of 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors, while for the front, there will be a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.
The Moto G6 Plus will feature a 3200mAh battery, while the Moto G6 will come loaded with a 3000mAh battery. Interestingly, the Moto G6 Play will feature an impressive 4000mAh battery. The Moto G6 will be available at around $240 and it will come in black, silver tone and rose gold colour options.
The Moto G6 Plus might be priced at $330 and it will be available inDeep Indigo (black), Nimbus (silver), and Dark Lake (dark teal). The Moto G6 Play is slated to launch in a dark charcoal, gold, and deep blue. All the smartphones might be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress.
