Honor 9X might be powered with Kirin 810 SoC, reveals leaked specs

Key specifications of the Honor 9X has been leaked online.

Honor is reportedly working on the new Honor 9X series, which will be the successor to last year’s Honor 8X. The company is reported to release two smartphones, the Honor 9X Pro and Honor 9X. Now, key specifications of the Honor 9X has been leaked online.

As per tipster @Rodent950, the upcoming Honor 9X will be powered by the latest Kirin 810 processor. To recall, the made its debut with Huawei Nova 5 series. The chipset is loaded with two ARM Cortex-A76 clocked at 2.27GHz and six ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.88GHz. Moving on, the tipster also reveals that the Honor 9X will be backed by a large display with a screen size ranging from 6.5 inches to 6.7 inches.

The tipster also sheds some light on the cameras of the upcoming smartphone. The leak reveals that the smartphone will be backed by a triple-camera setup at the rear with a combination of a 24-megapixel primary lens, 8-megapixel super lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For the front, the leak reveals that the company will add a 20-megapixel selfie shooter. Lastly, it is reported to be backed by a 3750mAh battery with 10W support.

Previously, the same tipster revealed the specifications of Honor 9X Pro. The phone will feature a quad camera setup with 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro. For the front, the phone will have a selfie camera of 25-megapixel.

The Honor 9X Pro is expected to come with a 4,000mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging. The phone might come in three variants in China – 6GB + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage priced at 1,899 Yuan, 2,199 Yuan and 2,499 Yuan respectively.
