Huawei’s sub-brand Honor will be launching the Honor 9X series smartphones including Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro. Now the Honor 9X Pro has been certified by Russia’s communications agency. Also, the phone’s specifications have also leaked online.
As per the tipster @RODENT950 on Twitter, the Honor 9X Pro will be powered by Kirin 810 chipset. The phone will feature a quad camera setup with 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel Wide-Angle lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro. For the front, the phone will have a selfie camera of 25-megapixel.

The Honor 9X Pro is expected to come with a 4,000mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging. The phone might come in three variants in China – 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage priced at 1,899 Yuan, 2,199 Yuan and 2,499 Yuan respectively. The Russian agency reveals that the Honor 9X carries model number HLK-AL10 while the Pro variant has model number HLK-L41.
A Twitter account by the name Huawei Club has also revealed that the Honor 9X Pro will include a HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC. If this comes true, then Honor 9X Pro will be the second smartphone to be powered by this Chipset after Huawei Nova 5.

As of now, the exact launch date of Honor 9X series is not known. Seems like the launch will take place only after the launch of Huawei Nova 5 series which is scheduled to launch on 21 June in China.
