A month after unveiling the entry-level M3 smartphone, Coolpad has announced the Cool Play 8 as its third smartphone with a notch at the top of the screen. The device comes as a successor to the Cool Play 7 which was introduced back in July with dual cameras at the back. The Coolpad Cool Play 8 smartphone will be available for an asking price of 999 yuan (approx. Rs 10,300).
The Cool Play 8 features a 6.2-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels and a standard notch at the top. The notch gives room t the front-facing camera, ambient and proximity sensors. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 Processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage.
