BSNL announces Rs 78 Prepaid plan with 10 days unlimited data, video calling

The BSNL Prepaid STV 78 comes as a limited period plan during the occasion of Durga Puja, Dussehra and Diwali and it’s worth keeping note that the benefits offered by the plan provide users with unlimited data. The new plan offers unlimited voice calls without restriction to any FUP to any network in India.

State-run telecom operator BSNL has introduced a new prepaid plan on the occasion of this festive season. Coming in as a Rs 78 Prepaid plan, the new voucher will allow prepaid users to benefit from unlimited data usage and video calling with a validity of 10 days.

The BSNL Prepaid STV 78 comes as a limited period plan during the occasion of Durga Puja, Dussehra and Diwali and it’s worth keeping note that the benefits offered by the plan provide users with unlimited data. BSNL is offering the new prepaid plan for Rs 78 which will be valid from October 15 on a pan-India basis.

The new plan offers unlimited voice calls without restriction to any FUP to any network in India. What’s interesting is that BSNL is offering these voice calls to phone numbers in Mumbai and Delhi cycles as well. There’s also an unlimited video calling option that can be activated for free in this plan by sending ‘STV COMBO78’ to 123 through an SMS.

In addition to unlimited voice and video calling, the new Rs 78 prepaid plan will offer up to 2GB data per day for 10 days, on completion of which users will be limited to speeds of 80 Kbps. Users will thus be able to enjoy high-speed data to up to 20GB for a span of ten days.

Speaking about the latest development, BSNL CMD, Anupam Shrivastava said: “Occasion of Durga Puja, Dussehra and Diwali, STV-78 will suit to all and will enable them to be in touch with their family and friends during the festive season”.

Previously, BSNL started offering a Rs 525 postpaid plan with 80GB of 2G/3G data along with data carry forward option of up to 200GB and unlimited voice calls. Earlier this month, the state-run company partnered with Amazon to offer one year of free subscription on Amazon Prime membership, offering the subscription on select postpaid and broadband plans.
