BSNL introduces Rs 299 postpaid plan

With the new postpaid plan, BSNL customers will get 31GB of data every month. Once the FUP limit is over, users will still be able to use the internet, but at a reduced speed of 80Kbps.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced a new for its users. The brand has priced the postpaid plan for Rs 299 and it comes with some interesting benefits.

With the new postpaid plan, BSNL customers will get 31GB of data every month. Once the FUP limit is over, users will still be able to use the internet, but at a reduced speed of 80Kbps. However, it is important to note that the plan is meant for new user and existing user cannot switch to this plan, reports TelecomTalk.

Apart from this, users will get unlimited voice calls to any network, where BSNL has its operations. This simply means that users cannot make free calls in Mumbai and Delhi, as it is operated by MTNL. Further, users will get 100 per day. The telecom operator will add GST charges to the final bill at the end of every rental month.

The plan is in direct competition with Vodafone RED plan that comes with a price tag of Rs 299. Vodafone is offering 20GB of data per month and it comes with rollover data up to 50GB. Further, users will get unlimited voice calls on local and STD networks along with free national and 100 SMS messages (local and STD).

Previously, the state-owned telecom operator announced that it will offer unlimited data on its postpaid and data add-on plans. The company will basically not charge its users once their data is exhausted by providing a post FUP speed.
