BSNL has reduced the data benefits on Rs 9 and Rs 29 prepaid plans. The telecom operator announced the two “chota pack” plans of Rs 9 and Rs 29 under its Freedom Offer in August this year.
BSNL Rs 9 and Rs 29 were announced with 1 day and 7 days validity respectively. Both the plans earlier used to offer a user 2GB daily data. But now after revision, BSNL Rs 9 pack now offers just 100MB data while Rs 29 pack now offer 1GB data for their respective validity periods, reports Telecom Talk.
As earlier calling benefits, both still offer you same unlimited voice calling benefits to any network, unlimited data 100 SMS messages per day. The unlimited calling though in both the plans are available in all circles except Delhi and Mumbai.
Meanwhile, recently, BSNL announced that its partnership with Amazon to offer one year of free subscription on Amazon Prime membership. The telecom operator is offering the free subscription on select postpaid and Broadband plans.
As per this offer, BSNL customers who have a postpaid plan of Rs 399 and above, will be eligible for this subscription. Similarly, BSNL users who have broadband plans starting from Rs 745 will get the Amazon Prime subscription for free.
