Now if we talk about the Rs 9 pack, the telco is offering same benefits but this plan comes with a validity of just one day. The plan will give you unlimited voice calling, unlimited data, 100 SMS messages per day. Like Rs 29 pack, this one too comes with a FUP limit of 2GB, after which the speed will drop to 80 Kbps. However, it is to be noted that unlimited calling in both the plans are available in all circles except Delhi and Mumbai.

The BSNL Rs 29 plan competes with Reliance Jio Rs 52 pack which also comes with a validity of seven days. With Rs 52 pack, Jio users get unlimited calling, 1.05GB of data and 70 SMS. The Rs 9 pack, on the other hand, takes on Reliance Jio Rs 19 pack with a validity of 1 day offering 150MB of data with voice calls. BSNL plan manages to beat Jio in pricing and benefits, but BSNL lags in its unavailability of voice calling to Mumbai and Delhi circles.

Airtel and Vodafone on the other hand also offer Rs 47 plans. Under Airtel’s 47 pack, users will get 125 minutes of free calls on local, STD and national roaming, 500MB of data and 50 local + STD SMS. The Vodafone Rs 47 plan offers 125 minutes of calls, 50 SMS and 500MB data to its users.

BSNL recently launched Rs 27 prepaid plan with a validity period of 7 days. This plan offers its users unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit and 300 SMS messages.
