Black Shark 2 Pro has already been confirmed to launch in China on July 30. Now the smartphone has been spotted on GeekBench Benchmarking website revealing quite a few specifications of the device.
As per the GeekBench listing, the Black Shark 2 Pro (model number DLT-A0) will be powered by “msmnile” (a motherboard name) a code-name shared by the Snapdragon 855 SoC and the Snapdragon 855+ processor. In addition to this, the Geekbench listing also confirms that the smartphone will feature 12GB of RAM.
As for the software, the Black Shark 2 Pro will run Android Pie out of the box. In the GeekBench listing, the phone has scored 3632 points in the single-core and 11304 points in the multi-core test.
If the Black Shark 2 Pro will be launched by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+, the smartphone will be the second handset to be powered by the latest chipset after Asus ROG Phone 2. Asus recently confirmed that it’s upcoming ROG Phone 2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset. The gaming smartphone will go official on July 23 in China. Nubia also recently announced that theNubia Red Magic 3 variant that will be powered by the Snapdragon 855+ octa-core chipset which will get launched soon.
The Xiaomi-backed company Black Shark recently launched Black Shark 2in India. Black Shark 2 is priced at Rs 39,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant while the premium variant is priced at Rs 49,999, which comes with a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Black Shark 2 Pro will be the third smartphone model after Black Shark 2 and Black Shark 2.
