Bharti Airtel has now revised its Rs 119 prepaid plan and now it offers less data benefits to its customers. Airtel announced the Rs 119 plan in October last year which was basically the same Rs 99 prepaid plan for which Airtel increased the price by Rs 20.
The Airtel Rs 119 plan earlier used to offer 2GB of 4G/3G/2G data for a period of 28/14 days. Now the same plan offers 1GB of 4G/3G/2G data for the same 28/14 days validity. Apart from offering data, the plan also offers unlimited voice calling without any FUP limit and 300 SMSes for a period of 28/14 days. The Rs 119 prepaid recharge has been introduced as a segmented tariff plan in all the 22 telecom circles, reports Telecom Talk.
Recently, Vodafone also announced its new prepaid plan of Rs 119 with a validity of 28 days. The Vodafone Rs 119 plan offers unlimited voice calling benefits and 1GB data per day. The plan sadly does not offer any SMS benefits. Vodafone also has a Rs 169 prepaid plan which offers similar benefits to the Rs 119 prepaid plan. The Rs 169 plan offers 1GB data per day, unlimited voice calling benefits and 100 SMS messages per day for 28 days.
Meanwhile, Airtel has brought back Rs 100 and the Rs 500 prepaid recharges which offer an outgoing validity of 28 days and they also come with a lifetime activation validity. The Airtel Rs 100 pack offers a talk time worth Rs 81.75. It comes with an outgoing validity of 28 days and lifetime activation validity when it comes to incoming calls. The Rs 500 recharge pack offers its customers a talk time of Rs 420.73 with an outgoing validity of 28 days. However, it is to be noted that, both the plans do not offer any Mobile Data and SMS benefits.
Previously, Airtel launched a new long-term recharge plan of Rs 1,699 for its prepaid users in India. The Rs 1699 plan comes with a validity of 365 days and it offers its customers unlimited STD, Roaming and local calls without any FUP, 1GB data per day and 100 SMS per day. Additionally, the plan offers a free premium content subscription on the Airtel TV app.
