Bharti Airtel has announced a new Prepaid plan of Rs 119 for its customers. Basically, the company has increased the price of its Rs 99 prepaid plan to Rs 119. The Rs 99 plan was introduced in direct competition with the Reliance Jio’s Rs 98 plan.
As per a report of TelecomTalk, Rs 119 prepaid recharge is offering two types of benefits for some users. For some customers, Airtel is offering 2GB of 4G/3G/2G data, unlimited voice calling without any FUP limit and 300 SMSes for a period of 28 days. While for some users, the Rs 119 plan is offering 1GB of 4G/3G/2G data along with unlimited local, STD and national roaming calls, and 300 SMSes for 14 days.
It is to be noted that Airtel has not removed the Rs 99 prepaid plan. Earlier, the Rs 99 plan offered similar benefits as the Rs 119 plan- for 28 days and for 14 days. But now, it offers 1GB of data, unlimited voice calling and 300 SMS for ten days.
Airtel has recently started offering free Amazon Prime subscription with its Rs 399 postpaid plan. The plan offers 40GB of 3G/4G data per month, unlimited voice calls on local and STD network coupled with free national roaming on outgoing calls and 100 text messages per day. Additionally, the Airtel Rs 399 postpaid plan customers can carry forward the data benefit up to 200GB/500GB.
