Airtel has added new plans as a part of data add-on packs for its prepaid users. The packs come with price tag of Rs 49 and Rs 193. The new packs from Airtel is directly in competition with Reliance Jio and Idea Cellular’s add-on data offers which were recently announced.
TelecomTalk reports, the first of the two – Rs 49 pack offers a total of 1GB of extra data while the second one priced at Rs 193, offers 1GB extra data per day. As of now, the packs have been rolled out only in Punjab circle, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Karnataka, Delhi and other areas.
For Rs 49 pack, if you have recharged Rs 249 pack with 28 days validity offering 2GB data per day, you will now get 1GB extra data on top. This data can be used after the 2GB daily limit is exhausted. For Rs 193 pack, if you are using Rs 249 plan with 2GB daily data you will get a total of 3GB daily with additional 1GB data with this add-on plan. The same applies to all the Airtel’s unlimited prepaid combo plans such as Rs 199, Rs 349, Rs 399, Rs 448, etc.
Reliance Jio add-on packs come with price tag of Rs 11, Rs 21, Rs 51 and Rs 101. Rs 11 add-on pack, users will get a 400MB of 4G data, which is an upgrade from 100MB. Moving on, with the recharge of Rs 21 pack, Reliance Jio users will get 1GB of 4G data. Similarly, with a recharge of Rs 51 and Rs 101, Jio users will get 3GB and 6GB of additional 4G data.
Idea also announced two new add-on packs recently. The first one is priced at Rs 92 and offers as much as 3 GB of data. This pack has seven days of validity. The other pack comes with one day of validity and is priced at Rs 53, offering the same 3 GB of data.
