Idea Cellular has reportedly announced two new add-on packs which offer extra data if you have exhausted your current alloted data.
The first one is priced at Rs 92 and offers as much as 3 GB of data. This pack has seven days of validity. The other pack comes with one day of validity and is priced at Rs 53, offering the same 3 GB of data.
Do note that your existing unlimited pack will have its same validity or the validity of these special packs, whichever is higher.
Idea is not the only one to announce such special packs. Last week Bharti Airtel had announced two packs priced at Rs 49 and Rs 92 that offer 3 GB and 6 GB of data respectively.
Reliance Jio has four plans priced at Rs 11, Rs 21, Rs 51 and Rs 101 that offer 400 MB, 1 GB, 3 GB and 6 GB of additional data.
Coming back to Idea, the operator has been upping its game to stay relavant in the Indian telecom market. It has been expanding its 4G coverage; just adding six more circles of – namely, Maharashtra & Goa, Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, and Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh – to its 4G kitty. The operator has also announced 10 GB of free data to new VoLTE subscribers. It has also launched a range of affordable prepaid plans recently.
