Reliance Jio revises data add-on packs, now offers up to 6GB of 4G data

The packs come with a price tag of Rs 11, Rs 21, Rs 51 and Rs 101.

Reliance Jio has added new plans as a part of data add-on packs for its prepaid users. The packs come with price tag of Rs 11, Rs 21, Rs 51 and Rs 101.

It is important to note that users will not get any calling benefits with these packs. To start with Rs 11 add-on pack, users will get a 400MB of 4G data, which is an upgrade from 100MB. Moving on, with the recharge of Rs 21 pack, Reliance Jio users will get 1GB of 4G data.

Similarly, with a recharge of Rs 51 and Rs 101, Jio users will get 3GB and 6GB of additional 4G data. Interestingly, these packs do not come with a validity, which means that they valid till user’s primary tariff plan is active. This simply means that if you perform a recharge of Rs 349, it comes with a validity of 70 days. So, an add-on pack will also be valid for 70 days as well. Apart from this, when the data limit of the add-on pack is exhausted, users can still use the internet but with a speed of 64Kbps.

Recently,Reliance Jio launched cheapest 4G prepaid plans starting at Rs 19. The company has introduced three sachet plans priced at Rs 19, Rs 52 and Rs 98 that gives limited validity and provides 4G data. The cheapest Rs 19 plan gives 150 of data and it comes with a validity of 1 day. After the data is consumed, users will still be able to access the net with a downgraded speed up to 64Kbps. Then there is Rs 52 sachet plan which offers a total 1.05GB of data with a limit of 150 MB per day. The pack comes with a validity of 7 days.

The Rs 98 pack offers 2.1GB of 4G data with a daily FUP (Fair Usage Policy) limit of 150 MB per day. The pack comes with a validity of 14 days. Apart from this, all the above-mentioned packs give unlimited voice calls on local, STD and and free access to Jio suite.
