Xiaomi unveils four E-series Mi TVs, Mi Art TV

Xiaomi has launched the Mi ART TV or Mi Mural TV featuring a 65-inch 4K HDR display in a 13.9mm thin form factor, which is possible because the TV’s processing unit is contained inside a separate box which sends the video signal and power to the TV. It's powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core CPU with 750MHz Mali-T830 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

A day after rolling out a new version of its PatchWall OS on Mi TV range in India, Xiaomi has announced new Mi TVs in China which include four models under the E-series and a new 65-inch Mi Art TV. The new TV models come at a starting price of 1,099 yuan (approx. Rs 11,450).

The new E-series Mi TVs and Mi Art TVs have been teased on Weibo and have also been listed officially by Xiaomi China. The cheapest of the new models is the Mi TV E32A which sells for 1,099 yuan (approx. Rs 11,450). The other models in the E-series include the Mi TV E43A, Mi TV E55A and Mi TV E65A which sell for 1,999 yuan (approx. Rs 20,800), 2,499 yuan (approx. Rs 26,000) and 3,999 yuan (approx. Rs 41,600) respectively. The most expensive of the latest launch is the 65-inch Mi Art TV which will sell for 6,999 yuan (approx. Rs 72,850).

Xiaomi Mi TV E32A

The new Mi TV E32A features a 32-inch display with a 178-degree viewing angle. The TV comes with a multi-core and GPU with 1GB RAM and 4GB storage. In terms of hardware, the TV features two 6W stereo speakers, a YSB 2.0 port, WiFi, Bluetooth, two HDMI port and an ethernet port.

Xiaomi Mi TV E43A

Mi TV E43A features a 43-inch Full HD screen with the same internal configuration as that of the Mi TV E32A. Additionally, it comes with two 8W speakers in a stereo configuration.

Xiaomi Mi TV E55A

Xiaomi’s Mi TV E55A equips a 55-inch screen with a 178-degree viewing angle. The TV is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core CPU, 750MHz Mali-450 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, three HDMI ports, an ethernet port and two ports. The TV also has two 8W stereo speakers.

Xiaomi Mi TV E65A

The Mi TV E65A is a 65-inch TV with 4K and 178-degree viewing angle. It’s powered by the same 1.5GHz quad-core CPU, 750MHz Mali-450 GPU as the E55A with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. All other specifications are the same.

Xiaomi Mi Art TV

Xiaomi has also launched the Mi ART TV or Mi Mural TV which features a 65-inch 4K HDR display in a 13.9mm thin form factor. The thin design language of the TV is possible because the TV’s processing unit is contained inside a separate box which sends the video signal and power to the TV. The Art TV resembles that of Samsung’s The Frame and is powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core CPU with 750MHz Mali-T830 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Connectivity options include three HDMI ports, two USB ports, ethernet, dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth. The TV has a dual 12-watt speaker with a 20mm tweeter, a 2.5-inch mid-low speaker and a subwoofer.
