Xiaomi has started rolling out a new version of its famous PatchWall OS on its Smart TV range in India. The new update brings refined users interface and a couple of more additions.
The PatchWall 2.0 is currently rolling out in a phased manner and it will soon be available for everyone in the coming days. One of the major highlights of the user interface is the addition of different themes. Customers will now have an option to choose between Light and Dark theme with the new update. Furthermore, the carousel on every category will help the user discover and access the content.
The update also brings the addition of Epic On channel to the Xiaomi Smart TVs in India. Users can access a list of shows like Raja Rasoi, Regiment Dairies, Jallianwala Bagh, Saamagri and Sampati among others from the channel. Customers can also watch news, sports and movies from the content apps including Bloomberg, Republic TV, Zee5, AltBalaji, Hungama Play, HOOQ, Sun NXT, Voot, Eros and many more.
Meanwhile, the company has slashed the prices of its Mi LED TVs in India. The brand recently announced a price cut on Mi LED TV 4A Pro 49 in India by Rs 1,000. After the price cut, the Android TV-based Mi TV is now available in the country at Rs 29,999. Similarly, the company announced a price cut on the Xiaomi 55-inch Mi LED TV 4 Pro and 32-inch Mi LED TV 4C Pro and the models are now available at reduced prices of Rs 47,999 and Rs 12,999 respectively.
