Xiaomi seems to be gearing up to showcase its latest products at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. At the event, the company is reported to launch the much-rumoured Xiaomi Mi 7 smartphone.
Interestingly, despite intense speculation, Xiaomi skipped the MWC event last year, but it seems that the brand will be back this year. This is because the company has been listed as an exhibitor on MWC 2018 website and it will be situated at Stand 6B30 in Hall 6. Now, multiple reports suggest that the company could unveil the latest Xiaomi Mi 7 smartphone during the event as well.
The Xiaomi Mi 7 is probably one option as in 2016, the brand introduced the Mi 5 smartphone during the MWC event. Xiaomi has already confirmed that the next flagship device will feature wireless charging.
Meanwhile, the upcoming smartphone from Xiaomi is turning out to be a promising device. The phone is already reported to ditch the fingerprint reader to feature an on-screen fingerprint sensor. The device is also reported to come loaded with some AI features as well. The AI-assisted Snapdragon 845 Chipset will power the dual rear cameras of Mi 7 for photography just like Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro that are powered by AI-assisted Kirin 970 chipset.
Xiaomi has already revealed that the upcoming Mi 7 will come with Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship processor, Snapdragon 845 which will be coupled with 6GB of RAM. The Mi 7 also will be packed with a 3950mAh battery and support Dual-SIM dual-standby.
