Xiaomi sold 700,000 units of Poco F1 globally in over three months

Xiaomi says that it has sold 700K units of Poco F1 in over three months period. In order to celebrate this occasion, the company is giving a discount up to Rs 5,000 on the latest smartphone. The discount will be available from December 6 to December 8 across various platforms including Amazon, Flipkart and Mi.com.

Xiaomi announced its new sub-brand Poco a few months back and announced its flagship smartphone, the Poco F1. Now, the company has revealed that it has sold 700,000 units of its Poco F1 smartphone across the globe.

Xiaomi says that it has sold 700K units of Poco F1 in over three months period. In order to celebrate this occasion, the company is giving a discount up to Rs 5,000 on the latest smartphone. The discount will be available from December 6 to December 8 across various platforms including Amazon, Flipkart and Mi.com.

Previously, the company rolled out a new update to the Poco F1 that brings some camera improvements. With the latest update, users will now be able to shoot slow-motion videos at 960 frames per second. The camera also gets a new Super low-light mode, which basically stitches 8 images to improve the quality of photos under low light. The update also fixes screen flickering issue as well as translation issue in the recent menu.

To recall, the Poco F1 was launched in India in August this year. The Xiaomi Poco F1 smartphone comes in three variants – 6GB with 64GB internal storage at Rs 20,999, 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage at Rs 23,999 and 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage at Rs at Rs 28,999 respectively.

It features a 6.18-inch Full notch display with 2246 x 1080 pixel resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor clocked at up to 2.8 GHz coupled with Adreno 630 GPU.

There is a dual rear camera setup with a combination of 12-megapixel primary Sony IMX363 sensor with dual pixel autofocus, with dual LED Flash, 1.4μm pixel size and a 5-megapixel secondary Samsung sensor. It has a 20-megapixel selfie camera along with support for face unlock feature. The device is backed up by 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
