Xiaomi announced the Mi Band 4 smart band for Rs 2,299 in India last month, soon after which the device went on sale for the first time. The company has now started rolling out an update to the Mi Band 4 which adds a couple of new features and watch faces to the smart band.
The latest update to the Mi Band 4 shifts the build number of the firmware to version 1.0.7.04. The update brings a new auto screen off timeout feature to the smart band which allows users to set the time after which the device’s screen should go off. Users will be allowed to choose a timeout period anywhere between 5 and 10 seconds.
Xiaomi has also optimised the smart band with improved swim tracking for enabling precise records when swimming. The company has also added a few more custom watch faces to the Mi Band 4 with more watch faces featuring Anime and game characters.

To recall, the Mi Band 4 features a 0.95-inch colour AMOLED (240×120 pixels) display with 2.5D scratch-resistant glass panel. The device comes with a built-in 6-axis high-precision sensor, supports sedentary reminders and heart rate warning function which vibrates the device to remind when the heart rate is too high.
The Mi Band 4 comes packed with a 135 mAh battery which offers up to 15 days on a single charge on NFC and up to 20 days on the standard version. The device is water-resistant to 5 atmospheres, or about 80 PSI, supports swimming, outdoor running, indoor running, walking, exercising, riding six sports modes, supports Voice commands and supports 77 full-colour dial themes.
