Xiaomi launched the latest Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphones in India last month. Both the smartphones are currently only available from company’s official store, Flipkart and Mi Home retail Stores. But now as per a reportby 91Mobiles, theXiaomi Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphones will also be available for salein the offline market too, starting 6th March.
The Redmi Note 5 is priced at Rs 9,999 for the 3GB RAM variant, while the 4GB RAM option is priced at Rs 11,999. On the otherhand, Redmi Note 5 Pro is priced at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM option, while the 6GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 16,999. But as per the report, both the smartphones will be sold Rs 500 more than the online price of the phones. The 3GB and 4GB RAM variants of the Redmi Note 5 will be available in the offline stores from March 6. But only 4GB variant of Redmi Note 5 Pro will be available offline from March 6, the report further revealed. The 6GB variant of Redmi Note 5 Pro will, however, be available in the offline market in the coming weeks.
The first sale ofXiaomi Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro was held on February 22 and the company claimed that they sold over 3 lakh units within less than 3 minutes. Xiaomi has rolled out the Face unlock feature for the phone via an OTA update for the device. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is the first Xiaomi smartphone in India to get this Face unlock feature.
Redmi Note 5, will be available in Gold, Rose Gold, Black and Blue colour options. As far as the specifications of Redmi Note 5 are concerned it features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, a colour contrast ratio of 1000:1 and 450-nits brightness. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Processor along with Adreno 506 GPU. The 3GB variant of the device has 32GB of internal storage, while 4GB model has and 64GB of storage option.
Note 5 has a 12-megapixel primary lens with 1.25-micron Pixel and f/2.2 aperture, while for the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and Beautify 3.0. A 4000mah battery powers the Redmi Note 5, and it runs on MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat. On the connectivity front, the phone features 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, dual-SIM, and Micro USB port.
If we look at the specifications of Redmi Note 5 Pro, it features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, a colour contrast ratio of 1500:1 and 450-nits brightness. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor along with Adreno 509 GPU. Both the 4GB and 6GB variants have 64GB of internal storage.
Note 5 Pro has a dual-camera setup, making it first smartphone under Redmi series to feature dual rear cameras. The phone features 12-megapixel primary lens with 1.25-micron pixel and f/2.2 Aperture along with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with 1.12-micron pixel and f/2.0 aperture. For the front, there is a 20-megapixel camera with Sony IMX376 sensor, LED flash and Beautify 4.0.
A 4000mah battery backs the Redmi Note 5 Pro, and it runs on MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat. On the connectivity front, the phone features 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, dual-SIM, and micro USB port.
