Xiaomi is reportedly working on the next-generation of Mi Pad tablet, dubbed as Mi Pad 4. Now, some key specifications of the upcoming tablet has been leaked online revealing insight details.
According to a report by XDA Developers, there are some pieces of evidence in the firmware files that reveal some key specifications of the upcoming tablet. To start with, the report reveals that the tablet might feature an aspect ratio of 18:9 and it will come with a screen density of 320ppi. The successor to the Mi Pad 3 is reported to feature a massive 6000mAh battery.
Moving on, the tablet is reported to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Processor and it might run on Android 8.1 Oreo with company’s MIUI 9 running on top of it. The report further added that the tablet might come with micro SD card slot. The Mi Pad 4 will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with OmniVision OV13855 sensor and f/2.0 aperture. For the front, there is a 5-megapixel shooter with Samsung S5K5E8 sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
To recall, Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 was launched in April last year in China at 1499 yuan which is approximately Rs 14,139. Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 features all metal body and has a 7.9-inch retina display with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution and thus offering a Pixel density of up to 326ppi. It is powered by a high-performance hexa-core 2.1GHz MediaTek MT8176 processor and runs on Android Marshmallow operating system with Xiaomi’s own MIUI8 skin on top.
The tablet gets its strength from a 6100 mAh battery support for 5V/2A fast charging. The battery offers to browse 12 hours of local video and 867 hours of Standby time.Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 comes with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal memory. The tablet also has a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Besides, the tablet offers 4G LTE (model dependent), Wi-Fi display, Wifi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and a microUSB port. The tablet is 328 grams in weight.
