After many leaks and rumours, Xiaomi has finally announced the launch of Mi Pad 3, in China today. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 is priced at 1499 yuan which is approximately Rs 14,139. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 will be made available for sale from tomorrow in Champagne Gold colour on Xiaomi Mall, Lynx, Jingong, Suning and Mi Home, in China.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 features all metal body and has a 7.9-inch Retina Display with 2048 x 1536 pixels Resolution and thus offering a Pixel density of up to 326ppi. It is powered by a high-performance hexa-core 2.1GHz MediaTek MT8176 processor and runs on Android Marshmallow operating system with Xiaomi’s own MIUI8 skin on top. The tablet gets its strength from a 6100 mAh battery with support for 5V/2A fast charging. The battery offers to browse 12 hours of local video and 867 hours of Standby time.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 comes with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal memory. The tablet also has a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Besides, the tablet offers 4G LTE (model dependent), Wi-Fi display, Wifi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and a microUSB port. The tablet is 328 grams in weight.
