Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 rear shell surface leaked in multiple colours

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 whose specs and pricingwere leaked recently has now surfaced once again in a leaked image on Chinese micro-blogging website, Weibo. The image shows the rear shells of the upcoming tablet in various colours.

Along with Mi Pad 3, Xiaomi is also expected to unveil another variant of Mi Pad 3 which is named as Mi Pad 3 Pro. The leaked image, however, does not reveal whether the back shells belong to the Mi Pad 3 or the Mi Pad 3 Pro. The image shows the colours which include gold, silver, red/rose, and black with a rather oddly-shaped back shell featuring inlaid ridges.

Based on previous rumours, the Mi Pad 3 tablet will come with a 7.9-inch display with an unknown and will feature 4GB of RAM. For internal memory, the Pad 3 will come in 64GB and 128 variants. It will run on 7.0 Android Nougat operating system. A per earlier reports, the 64GB variant is expected to be priced at 1299 Yuan which is approximately Rs 12,307 while the 128GB variant is priced at 1599 Yuan which is approximately Rs 15,149.

The Mi Pad 3 Pro tablet will come with a bigger screen size of a 9.7-inch display with unknown resolution. It will be powered by Intel 8750 which is coupled with 4GB RAM. Like Mi Pad 3, the Mi Pad 3 Pro will also come in two variants – one with 64GB and 128GB of internal memory. Pricing of the Mi Pad 3 Pro will start from 1699 Yuan which is approximately Rs 16,096. This tablet would run on Widows 10 operating system.

As per reports, the tablets will be unveiled on the same day when Xiaomi Mi 6 will be announced. However, there is no confirmation on whether the Mi 6 and Mi Pad 3 tablets will be unveiled on the same day or will be launched through separate launch events.
