We already know that Xiaomi is working on the upcoming Mi Max 3 smartphone. Recently, the smartphone got the 3C certification in China indicating its imminent launch. Now some specifications of the alleged Xiaomi Mi Max 3 smartphone has been leaked online.
As per the leaked specifications which surfaced on Weibo and was first spotted by 91 Mobiles, Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will feature a massive 6.99-inch full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is expected to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor. After the recently launched, Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, the Mi Max 3 will be the second phone from Xiaomi to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset.
The leak shows that the phone will come in two variants – one featuring 4GB of RAM, and other with 6GB of RAM. For the camera, the smartphone will feature a dual camera setup with 20-megapixel Sony IMX363 primary sensor. However, there is no information on the secondary sensor as well on the front camera of the phone. It will run on Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 10 and will be backed up by 5,500mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0’s 18W fast charging.
The recent 3C certification revealed that the Mi Max 3 carries support for 5V / 3A, 9V / 2A and 12V / 1.5A. The devices come with a charger supporting 18W Fast charging output. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun revealed last month that the Mi Max 3 is estimated to be announced in July this year and the 3C certification hinted that the device will be launched on time in July. The Mi Max 3 is also said to come with a host of interesting features including wireless charging, iris scanner and more.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will be the successor of Xiaomi Mi Max 2 which was launched in India last year for Rs 16,999 with a huge 5300mAh battery and a massive 6.44-inch Full HD display.
