Xiaomi has today announced a permanent price cut on its Mi A2 smartphone. The smartphone was launched in India with a starting price of Rs 16,999 in August last year, but its price was slashed by Rs 1,000 in November.
The Xiaomi Mi A2 price in India now starts at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant after a Rs 2000 price cut. The 6GB and128GB storage variant is available for Rs 15,999, after a Rs 3000 price cut. The new prices are now reflecting on Mi.com and Amazon India.
To recall, Xiaomi launched the Mi A2 with the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant at Rs 16,999, while its 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant was launched at Rs 19,999. The phone got a price cut in November last year after which the Mi A2 came at a starting price of Rs 15,999 and the 6GB RAM variant came at Rs 18,999.
Talking of the specs, Mi A2 features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is armed with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Chipset along with Adreno 512 GPU, up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device is backed by a 3010mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 Fast charging support.
There’s a dual-camera setup at the back with a combination of the 12MP primary sensor with Sony IMX486 sensor, f/1.75 Aperture and 1.25-micron pixel size and a 20MP secondary sensor with Sony IMX376 sensor, f/1.75 aperture and 1.0-micron pixel size. On the front, the phone has a 20 MP sensor with AI-powered features, including an AI Portrait mode.
