Xiaomi introduced the Mi 8 Lite smartphone in September this year with 4GB of RAM and 6GB RAM variants. Now, it seems that the company is preparing to introduce a new colour option and it will also upgrade the memory of the latest smartphone.
A listing on TENAA shows a new colour variant of Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. The device carries model number M1808D2TT and it will come loaded with an 8GB of RAM as well. Starting with the new colour option, one can see a dual-tone finish on the latest smartphone.
The front and back panel of the unit comes with a black finish, while at the edges, one can see the orange finish and same is reflected around camera rim. The listing also reveals that the phone will come loaded with a slightly smaller battery capacity. It will feature a 3250mAh battery, while the standard unit comes with a 3,350mAh juice. Rest of the specifications remains the same.
To recall, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels coupled with a notch on the top. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, which is paired with Adreno 512 GPU. The phone currently offers 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. The memory can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot.
For optics, the Mi 8 Lite features a dual-camera setup with a combination of 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary shooter. For the front, there is a 24-megapixel sensor for video calling and selfies. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, which is based on MIUI 10. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) 2×2 MIMO , Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C.
